Place the lash strip along the lash line to see if you need to trim it to the desired size. The strip should start where the natural mass of the eyelashes begins, if you start too close to the inner corner, it will irritate your eyes. To mark where the lashes should end in strips, go to the outer corner and count 2 to 4 tabs inward. Remember that if you leave them hanging, it can cause your eyes to fall out.
If your eyes also fall into the round category, choose the baby doll. While other shapes (especially the hooded eye) should opt for the Open Eye eyelash style. With proper care, eyelash extensions can last six weeks until they fall out naturally according to the natural eyelash growth cycle. If you want a very durable application, use the “double adhesive” technique by applying a few dots of glue along the lash line and on the eyelashes.
There are a lot of factors at play when it comes to applying false eyelashes, including the shape of the eyes, how exactly you remove the lashes from their box in the first place (never tear them off, please) and that's even before we have to trim and apply glue. During your initial consultation, your eyelash artist will research the condition of your natural lashes and decide on the right curl, length, and thickness for you. Look down and press the lash strip against the lash line in the center, the outer edge and the inner corner. If your heart is leaning toward trying a set of eyelash extensions for the first time, read this post.
The goal here would be to draw attention to the outer corner of the eye by adding longer eyelashes in that area in the style of the cat's eye. Generally, voluminous lashes cost more, since the artist will have to spend more hours creating eyelash fans and applying them. Creating an additional length in the eyelashes in the outer corner and gradually shortening the lengths to the inner corner will make a big difference. Using eyelashes that are too long or too thick for your eyelashes can cause long-term damage, so you should make sure that your extensions aren't much longer or thicker than your natural lashes.
This can vary a lot, from an almost indistinguishable lightweight hood to an overlapping hood that can be found at the top of the lash line. What I like most about this glue is that it starts white, so you can see where you're brushing it on the lash band.
